Bambby Cheuk has had experience working on documentaries on at-risk youth, animal cruelty, environment and sports. She would do anything to discover and tell dramatic, quirky and real stories to whoever is willing to hear them. It is her mission to gather like-minded activists to tell stories so as to inspire her millennial peers, leading change through film. A fresh university undergraduate from Singapore, she has worked with networks like Fox and ESPN, and brands like NBA and Hewlett Packard.
A documentary piece on the different kinds of relationships that Okinawans have with the environment. Using the topic of whale shark captivity, we see how it is difficult to come to a consensus on how to love the environment the ‘right’ way – some love the environment and want to take care of it, some love the environment because they expect the environment to take care of them.
