Radha, at its core, is a film about love and sacrifice. You will be taken on an emotional journey through the eyes and life of two distinct characters that have grown apart over time but are trying to get their connection back. It is a story of a romance between two people, who share an invisible bond. The story is set in Calcutta and revolves around Radha, an elderly lady who nurtured a young boy and loves him with all her heart. Destiny, however, separates them and she longs to see him. Radha waited for Krishna after he left her in Vrindavan. (reference from the love life of Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Vishnu, the preserver, a god from the Hindu mythology) . It is written in the Hindu Pauranic stories that Krishna is incomplete without Radha and Radha cannot be complete without Krishna. They are not different but one for People who love each other unconditionally is not different but one as they exist in each other's spirit. The young boy with his innocence and playful nature amuses the woman he adores. Radha is his mentor, friend, and idol. He looks up to her for everything. She is his inspiration to strive for his dreams and face the challenges in life. He, on the other hand, brings a smile to her face and makes her laugh. The story puts the following questions the viewers – does unconditional and pure love ever dies or is it eternal? Do we ever lose those whom we truly love? Or are they standing by our side even when we cannot see them? Do those who truly love us ever leave us? Or does the eternal bond between two people with such love ever breaks.... The film is an ode to the ones who wait for us back at home, and will hopefully make you reach out to them with love.
