Trash Art Hungary competition of the International Nature Film Festival announces the two winners. The 17 sculptures made of recycled waste were based on the topic of ‘Dawn of a New Age - Anthropocene - Time of Man’. The jury announced two winners. The project was supported by the Ministry of Agriculture. The aim of the project is to draw attention to waste problems and possible solutions The sculptures and installations were admired by tens of thousands of visitors at the Nature Film Festival. They were in the center of media interest.
It is already a tradition that between 26 and 28 May, during the International Nature Film Festival in Gödöllő we offer a two-day professionals’ event for filmmakers. Our goal is that our guests from the Friday programmes and the lecturers from the Saturday workshops could share as much information as possible based on their professional background and experiences, providing Hungarian artist with valuable knowledge and networking contacts. Outlined the 3rd International Nature Film Festival programs. As in previous years we expect every festival friends many interesting and exciting programs in May to the Royal Palace, which will be main location of film screenings, and in Lower Park, opposite the castle , which will host the nature and environmental programs.
"Dawn of a new age: Anthropocene - Time of Man" is the title of the competition for preparation of statues and the aim of the project is drawing attention of the society to problem of waste management, which is one of most important problem nowadays. 10 artistic teams have invited for participation in the project: The Hungarian University of Fine Arts (Budapest) Moholy- Nagy University of Art and Design (Budapest)
Think outside the box Musical talent contest To last year’s great succes, we are once again organizing the Jam For Nature, music competition within the framework of the festival. This year you can enter the competition in two categories: solo/duo, or band. Just like last year, professional judges will decide which acts will perform on the festival, and will have the chance to win the grand prize of 200 000 Forints by category, or one of the many other awards:

International Nature Film Festival Gödöllő submission timeframe closed on 10 March! From 58 countries nearly 300 film entered our competition! From Canada to Japan, Argentina to Vietnam, also from several other countries from ALL over the World. Filmmakers know our Festival and they would like compete with their films here, in Hungary, in Gödöllő! Also we would like to thank the films from the nearly all european countries which were submitted by independent filmmakers and studios, this is also a great recognition for us.
The Festival Gala will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Riding Hall of the Gödöllő Royal Palace. Thanks to the featured supporters of the festival the value of this year's festival awards adds up to 12 000 EUR for the section and technical awards.
