I often deal with presenting transborder Hungarian values. I have been a film director of scientific expeditions several times. I have made historical documentaries, movie series, primarily about Hungarian protected values, about the history of the Hungarian railroads, about Africa and about following the tracks of Hungarian researchers discovering and traveling around the world. For the past few years, I have been making film portraits about artist for the Hungarian Academy of Arts.
The complete painting style of Dénes Kuti, who lives in Sovata, is determined by the color green. One of his critics wrote about him once, that the color he uses is a special green, a Kuti-green. His paintings are always inspired by nature, his whole art is determined by it. Certainly, all these are in his own “Kuti-way”, a little bit upside down. Dénes Kuti is among the very few Transylvanian artists, who can get by his own art without giving himself up. He is a happy man.
