Altogether 28 town have joined to the National Nature and Environmental Protection Film Days which are going to take place on 24-26 May, 2019. The best Hungarian films of the Festival - will be screened troughout the country.

More than 70 entries arrived to the Trash Art Hungary 2019 which highlightes the importance of water as the essential material of life and future this year.

The Trash Art Hungary - as the part of the V. International Nature Film Festival - has the aim of making an astounising outdoor exhibition from recycled trash and materials which draws attention to the modern, main problems of our society for the third time.


From 98 countries 1464 entries arrived.

Within the International Film Review the most submission arrived in the Documentaries - short category with 34,2%, after that the Nature films with 22,2%, Animation 15,4%, Domunetaries - TV 12,7%. The last two categories are the Travelogues and expedition documentaries and the Scientific documentaries. In the Carpathian Basin Film Review there are 62 submitted films.

Entries opened for the 2019 International Nature Film Festival Gödöllő.

Between 24-26 May 2019 the V. International Nature Film Festival Gödöllő is going to take place 

In the 2018 Festival 160 films were screened for the approximately 40 000 visitors in 5 different places. The Festival and its professional partners organized full-day-long informative-entertaining programs for the visitors.

The 1st International Forum of Environmental Film Festivals took place on October 13th in Seia, Portugal, in the scope of the 24th edition of the Serra da Estrela International Environmental Film Festival. This Forum was attended by more than 100 participants, including 36 film festival directors from the Green Film Network (GFN) from 30 countries, brought together to make a difference and contribute to the promotion of environmental cinema in the world.

Balázs Szendofi and his film of this year's festival got the main prize, funded by the Media Council of NMHH in 2018!
The award ceremony was announced on Saturday 26th of May and the 2018 prizes and special prizes were handed over. The scene of Gala was the Royal Castle of Gödöllő, where many Hungarian and foreign artists, members of the jury and the audience celebrated the recognition of the nature film profession and individuals.

We are inviting all artists and those interested in nature film making to participate in this year’s meeting for film professionals on 25-26 May, 2018. Similar to last year’s event it will take place in the tent on the grounds of the Royal Palace in Gödöllő. Participation in the meeting and in workshops is free of charge but previous registration is neccessary.
