Halcyon is a unique animation created using luminous colours with a combination of inks and a light box and rostrum camera. The effect is reminiscent of Soho Square by Mario Cavalli. With Halcyon, I wanted to capture the sense of walking along an autumn river. Halcyon is a reflective, meditative piece in the tradition of slow cinema and natural mindfulness. My intent is to encourage people to walk outside and notice the beauty of nature.
