Matthias Daenschel has been working as a freelance animator and animated film director for twenty years, serving a wide variety of styles and genres. Be it an opera premiere, a cinema film or a short film, quality and high artistic standards always come first. He lives and works in Berlin.
The big ones eat the little ones, that's how it is! The film was created as a summer family workshop. The idea, the characters and the animation were developed by all family members together. The sound design was created in a joint workshop with the sound artist Stefan Roigk. The music comes from the ECHO prizewinners Trio Lézard using a well-known german folk song.
